Client – Creative Partnerships
A three-year action research project devised with Dale Primary School and funded by the central government Creative Partnerships Initiative.
The research process was shaped by both teaching staff and pupils and delivered sustainable changes to the school environment that had an impact on the potential for creative learning. Projects included the remodelling of the school entrance, the transformation of an external play-space, mentoring staff and pupils in site analysis techniques, an extensive de-clutter exercise and a trip to Pistoia to learn from the Reggio Emilia tradition of early years education.
