muf designed a play area on a housing estate for a range of ages, from small children to teenagers.  The design was established through consultation of the tenants representatives and potential users.  Young people were involved throughout the design development and implementation through a number of initiates that included a photography competition and planting on site.

The scheme makes use of and enhances the undulating ground and the presence of existing mature trees.  An enclosed area with play equipment is provided for younger children with a sheltered, lit seating area for teenagers. The sense of enclosure is disrupted by the patterned play surface that links both areas
